Subject to the estate of Lady Margaret Tailboys, wife of Sir Peter, in the manors of Monysotery and Monckton for her jointure , and grants of baylywike officers and stewardshippes and their fees. Sir Peter and Lady Margaret shall take the revenue of the manors of Monysotery and Monckton and of the lands etc thereto belonging and Thomas shall make them a lawful estate therein for their lives ; Sir Peter shall take there venues from the rest of the premises, Thomas making him an estate therein for life . Thomas shall observe such leases as Sir Peter and Lady Margaret make of the premises, but Sir Peter shall not demise the Castle of Dertmoth or the brewhouse or horssmyll at Walflytt except for the term of his life, nor the mancion house, parke and demesne lands and Barton grounds of Monysotery except for his life and his wife`s. If Sir Peter marrys again , Thomas shall suffer the manors of Monysotery and Monckton and the Parke of Monysotery with the lands etc, to be made sure to such wife for life. If Sir Peter shall have lawful issue , and he then pays 2500 li to Thomas, Thomas shall suffer the premises to be made sure to Sir Peter and the lawful heirs of his body and , in default of such issue to the use of Thomas and his heirs forever.
